We inform you that from the 10th to the 25th of June 2024 the Castle of Monselice will host the filming of an important film set. The guided tours are therefore suspended on the days between the 10th and the 25th of June 2024.
The Castle of Monselice
The monumental complex is open to the public from February to December.
In January it is open only for groups by reservation.
The Monumental Complex is open to the public every day, except tuesdays.
From March to October the opening hours are as follows: 09:00 – 10:00 – 11:00 – 15:00 – 16:00 – 17:00
In the months of November, December and February the opening hours are as follows: 10:00 – 11:00 – 14:00 – 15:00
Reservation recommended for individual visitors for a visit to the Castle of Monselice.
Reservations are always required for groups over 15 people.
Natural path: the Colle della Rocca
The Colle della Rocca archaeological nature trail can be visited on holidays and pre-holidays in the months of April, May, June, September, October with a visit in the morning (10:00) and one in the afternoon (16:00).
On the basis of the reservations collected through the website (www.castellodimonselice.it), email (info@castellodimonselice.it) or telephone (+39 0429 72931) it will also be possible to schedule further midweek openings.
During winter, in case of bad weather, the visits, even if booked, may be suspended for safety reasons. Before traveling, it is advisable to check the weather conditions by calling the offices of the Castle of Monselice at the phone number. 0429-72931 / 0429-72468.
Extraordinary openings and holidays
The Monumental Complex will remain open on the days of:
Easter, Easter Monday, Saint Mark, May 1st, June 2nd, August 15th and November 1st.
Closed on Christmas, Saint Stephen, New Year’s Eve and Epiphany.

To ensure an excellent service, remember that the time needed to visit the Castle of Monselice is estimated in about 60 minutes.
The naturalistic archaeological visit on the Colle della Rocca lasts about 90 minutes.
Please always respect the booking time.
The visit to the Castle of Monselice and the Colle della Rocca is always accompanied.
Reservations outside the normal visiting hours
For groups of less than 15 people outside the normal visiting hours, upon reservation at least 10 days in advance, in addition to the entrance ticket, the cost of the guide will be € 90.00 + VAT for each hour of visit.
For groups of a minimum of 15 and up to a maximum of 35-40 people who wish to visit the monumental complex of the Rocca di Monselice outside the normal hours, upon reservation at least 10 days in advance, in addition to the ticket entrance fees, the cost of the guide will be € 45.00 + VAT for each hour of visit.

Villa Contarini in Piazzola sul Brenta (PD)
By showing the entrance ticket to Villa Contarini in Piazzola sul Brenta at the Ticket Office, within one month, you will be entitled of the 50% discount on the ordinary ticket. The promotion does not apply to groups, schools and reduced tickets.
Monumental Garden of Valsanzibio (PD)
By showing the full entrance ticket to the Monumental Garden of Valsanzibio at the Ticket Office you will be entitled with a reduced ticket of € 7.00 instead of € 10.00.
Agreement with UNPLI
For Pro Loco members of the province of Padua, there is a 30% reduction on the full admission ticket to the Castle and a 10% reduction on bookshop material purchase, upon presentation of the “National Pro Loco Unpli membership card”. This discount will be valid for all days of ordinary opening and according to the normal opening hours of the Complex.
Conventions Italian Touring Club, FAI, Arte Terme Card, Selvazzano Card, Grand Pass Ville Venete
A 30% reduction on the full admission ticket to the Castle is also provided by presenting one of the cards listed above.
Alì
The Promotional Advertising Agreement between Immobiliare Marco Polo srl and Alì Spa provides for free admission to the Rocca di Monselice Monumental Complex for n. 2 adults + n. 3 children up to and including 14 years, by presenting the coupon issued by Alì SpA. The promotion is valid for all ordinary opening days and according to the normal opening hours of the Castle.
